On June 4th 2003 a friendly handball match was played between the national teams of Catalunya and Iceland in the city of Girona in front of 3,000 spectators and shown live on TV. The match was organised by the Catalan Handball Federation and counted on the collaboration of KINETICAL. The objective of this agreement between the Catalan Federation and the referees`technical committee was to put into practice, in the world of handball, Kinetical’s solution for refereeing using mobile devices: before, during and after the match.
With this test the Catalan Handball Federation and Kinetical continue to be in the front line of new capabilities and projects for the world of handball.
