This mobility solution is based on a central module that sends and receives information in a way that every police officer, in the moment that they introduce whatever information into their PDA, simultaneously updates the central module and this, in turn, sends out this data so that the mobile devices have up to reliable, precise information updated after each new action that takes place.
The Central Module thus manages officers through the PDA’s that each of them carries, managing communications and the synchronisation of all the data that is held in the system.
The first module that is implemented is that of fines. In this way the officer quickly becomes familiar with the application and the PDA, whilst the administration of fines is one of the most frequent tasks undertaken by officers in their daily work. Later the modules for abandoned vehicles, work forms, witness statements and community safety are progressively applied.
