The police officer always has, in their hand, all
the information that they need to process, in the
quickest and most effective manner, an abandoned
vehicle.
Upon locating a suspect vehicle, the officer introduces
in “Inspection” the details of the vehicle
(e.g. number plate details). Automatically details
of whether the vehicle is suspicious are found in
the database of abandoned vehicles. If the vehicle
is registered in the database, the officer receives
all of the data pertaining to the vehicle including
historical data. What is more the application sends
a photo of the vehicle in question.
On the other hand, if the search does not find
that the vehicle is in the database, the application
asks the officer to enter details on the vehicle
into their PDA so that it can be added to the
database. The agent can also add information in
“New Notations” and easily follow
the progress of abandoned vehicles, entering new
data relating to these vehicles.
If they enter “Consultations”, the
officer can easily locate the vehicle in the database
and obtain the complete information.
In the moment that the police introduce whatever
type of information in their PDA the Central Module
receives this valuable information and maintains
it permenantly updated.
